I was depressed at the thought of being relegated and another season of Southgate incompetence to look forward to,but the news of this injury prone below average right back signing a new contract has made me forget all that and filled my heart with joy.All i need now is for Gibson to give Southgate a new contract (which he probably will by the way) and my year will be complete.

To be fair, McMahon is and has always looked a decent Right Back..but as you say has been plauged by injuries.

I am taking this as a positive sign that not everybody wants to leave the club and are setting examples. He has also stated he wants to captain the side.

Need more like him.
