NEWS: Mark Hughes has been sacked by Man City today.
Khaldoon Al Mubarak said "We have confidence in the new manager we have selected, and we are hoping that he leads Man City to great sucsess."

Man City's new manager will be Lewis Edwards, a manager that lead Huddersfield FC into the championship and then resigned.

Good title. It doesn't really take luck to win stuff with Man City though, just gelling.

Good luck get GUARDADO just build a team that can win you the title withini 2 years then the big lads will come messi aguero kak pato maybe ronaldo dun this before 3 successive titles then got bored.

Man City have tied up two signings: 16 year old striker Vaclav Kadlec from Sparta Sprague o a free transfer and Sporting CP's defensive midfielder Miguel Veloso for £12m.

In an interview with www.mcfc.co.uk, Veloso was asked the following questions:

So how is it to play for a top club like Manchester City now, Miguel?

"It's very good thanks, playing in England has always been my goal and I am pleased that I have forfilled it."

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

"Well hopefully I see myself part of a great community as Man City with a couple of trophies in the trophy cabinet, mainly the Premier League, but you've got to start off smaller, such as the League cup, FA cup ect.

How much pressure is it that, to be fair, someone that the majority of Manchester City fans have never heard of has been transfered over to their club for £10m?

Well it certainly dosen't make things easy, but all I am focused on is winning Silverware.

Have you had trouble adapting to life in England yet?

Some parts are hard, like getting used to eating English food, mainly pies (laughs), and others such as Beef and bacon, egg and so on. But other than that life is perfect at the moment.

Visit www.mcfc.co.uk to see the rest of the interview.

Man City are also rumoured to be interested in Joao Moutinho.

TWO MORE SIGNINGS:
Man City have signed Joao Moutinho for £10m, and Mario Balotelli for £16m.

Oh guys, did I not tell you that I am using the 9.3.0 database?

some people will probably slag you for this but i quite like the idea and the title made me laugh

yea u might aswell enjoy ur last month on fm09 with a bit of fun

im under a bit of pressure because everyone is saying oh yeah this won't be hard. If I do bad I'll feel like a prat. Thanks for defending me Rob.

Also, seeing as I have Veloso I want to sell De Jong, but im worried that people won't want to buy him seeing as he's just joined, shall i wait till January?

Haha. You just don't sell, you should have 2 players that can play same position.

true, thanks redrup, two more transfres probably coming soon, have a go at guessing who they are lol

Keep De Jong because when i did a city save i have used him in my first team and he does brilliant he got 21 assists and got 7 goals and its ok i was once going to start a City thread but then thought twice but you have inspired me haha i might start one

He can do better than Jagielka with his money.

I was thinking Srna and Cardozo, lol. I've got a Man City game going, they are very good, Good luck mate
