hi, i've been playing football manager for at least 2 years now and know what works and what doesn't.
before i started a new game at carlise i was in charge of newcastle and with 4 premiership titles 3 consecutive champs league 2 fa cups 1 carling cup 3 euro super cup 1 uefa cup 1 community shield and 3 club word championships i was pretty confident with carlise as they are considered a good team in league 1 and i thought if i choose them i could get them promoted and achieve good things with them like i did newcastle. but how wrong i was, the whole season has been complete disappointment the worst was 8 games without a point
i have created this thread so you can post your views and give me suggestions of about how to go about my tactics and any problems you might have in lower leagues, i am currently playing a 4-4-2 with my CBs running back. no other positions run forward or back and i have a complete lack of goals.

please help :)

im not sure if the tactic works with lower teams but ive tried sticking with it and still in 10th position but expectations are to be promoted.

I heard the atctics you use are very effective, but Ive never used them myself. You could try to put forward arrows to your wingers, so they could bang in more crosses, runnign with ball mixed to wingers and full backs. If you want a better defence don't put forward runs to your FB, so that's okay, try maybe playing with a defensive minded MC with an arrow down for destruction matters, and another one slightly more offensive so he can get behind the strikers, I don't know it"s very general advice, worked for me in BSN.

yeah i was considering doing that thanks for advice i think i need to support my strikers more or possibly bring in a better one lol. anyone know any good dms?
