media predictions?

Does anyone know what the pre-season media predictions take into account for the predictions? I ask because in my 5 years with Southport, I have been a long shot at best according the media no matter how strong my squad is or how well they performed the previous season. The two times where the media prediction was relegation, I have actually won the division I was in.

I'm guessing it's based mostly on reputation, which builds as you go up through the leagues and win more things.
So if you're powering quickly through the leagues I can sort of understand why it puts you up as a relegation team.

I was wondering about it myself before so used FMRTE to change a lower league teams rep by a far bit and that seemed to jump up the media prediction aswell as the game odds etc without doing anything else to the players/club.

It's based only on reputation. So it's kind of useless.
