How can I put youngsters on loan??

I have searched for ages for the answer to this question.

When I am going to put a youngster on loan, I go to the player's profile, press "Offer to clubs" and when I'm going to change from "transfer" to "loan", it's impossible to select loan! The only thing possible to select is "transfer"..
Please help!!

If they are on a youth contract they cant go out on loan.

i reckon becuase your going into ur under 18's and they dont have fully contracts they signed as youth player
give them a full time contract as backup or something like that and it will work hopefully

It's because they're too young and have youth contracts- annoying I know!!
For example, FM2007 (retro, I know) I would always buy Sherman Cardenas and Nicolas Millan. If I was an English team and because they are Colombian and Chilean respectively and very young, work permits would be an issue. Resolution- loan them out to somewhere like Belgium, but I never could because of their contract- and then when it would come round to offering full-time, they couldn't sign because they didn't have a work permit and would then leave on a free!! Grrrr! Anyway.....
