Just saw this kid thinking he was the actual french legend one.
Anyone else seen players with name of ex professionals?
 
Had a regen called Eric Canton in a save from a while back, no screenshots though as i deleted the save.
 
Regens are ex-players that have been regenerated.
Newgens are players who don't represent ex-players but the game has regenerated.

I think that is right ^^ :P

I once got Les Ferdinand, which I was quite fond of. Shame he was a small, energetic defensive mid.

Meaning, the names are the same, players are totally different(nationality,position and etc).

Ive had pele,roberto,ronaldo,raul,keane. To be honest most legends have pretty common names.

Regens and newgens are the same thing..
 
That player i posted that Platini is real. He changed his real name from Marcos in 2001 to replicate the french legend..
 
Lots of Diego Maradonas in FM.And the most of them Brazilians.I've even stumbled in a Sao Paulo regen who moved to Barcelona.Coincidence?
 
Theres been a Northern Ireland keeper before called David Seeman played for Oldam same league the Ex Birmingham and Arsenal one played in. Spelt different.
