Middlesbrough legend Tony Mowbray has resigned as Middlesbrough manager!

"Hi Tony, what do u want?"
"Hi Steve, I dont think I can keep going"
"What do u mean Tony"
"I mean... I can't stay Middlesbrough manager for any longer."
" U can Tony believe me"
"I can't Steve Im a legend! Nothing more!"
" U are a legend but you are also in the heart of Middlesbrough"
"I maybe in the heart of Middlesbrough F.C but I cant stay here"
"U hand in a letter of resignation tomorrow and Ill consider it!"

Tony walks out with a tear to his eye.

Later that day Tony writes out his letter.

The next morning Tony hands in his letter of resignation and walks out. Steve Gibson replies to Tony saying his resignation has been accepted and his wish has been granted. All the players are shocked with the news and decide to skip training.

Gibson thinks he needs to head straight into the hunt for a new manager. A likely and unkown manager is me, Lewis Norman. I have never been manager but thats what Gibson wants. A manager with no experience to be welcomed into the beautiful game.


I wrote out a request of the vacant managerial post. Gibson takes in the request and decides to give him a look at so he calls him in.

"Lewis, come to the Riverside Stadium right away!"

I walk in to see Gibson standing there waiting.

"Hi Lewis, I heard you think your ready to become Middlesbrough manager?"
"Yep Im ready"
"Im glad to see your determination but you do know that a managerial position an be very tough to take in."
"I understand, Steve but Im honestly ready for it."
"Ok Lewis, as of what u have said Ill take you in. Sign the paper and your manager of Middlesbrough."
"Thank you Steve"

I rush to sign the paper and I instantly want to talk to my backroom staff and players.
