Okay so this is my first ever story on here. This is also a challenge set to me by a mate who on previous football managers has always turned Boro into a top team spending as little money as possible. So i have set myself the limit off 600k for the first season and will look at reasonable amounts as the seasons progress(hopefully)

First bit of business is transfers.

Took a bit of a risk with the transfer letting some of the bigger players at the clubs go like Jones and Riggot but I just cant stand them so they had to go.

Also a risk signing Post even though his cheap in the overall budget i was giving it takes up a large chuck of the limit i have set myself but I took a risk following him helping my QPR team get promoted on FM09.

You could probably have got a bit more for some of the players but you should have enough money to get in some decent attacking talent. I would recommend Salvador Cabanas from America Mex. In my Boro game he was an absolute beast. He costs about £4mil so you should have enough money to get him in. Otherwise Smolarek is quite good a well.
