hi

ive just set my new season with middlesbrough and have 10 million to spend im just wondering what you guys think i should do with these funds???

im looking at bringing in players who will make an impact straight away

the main positions im looking to improve on are

striker
right wing
centre mid
left back
goalkeeper
 
Chrisitian Bentiez From Santos Laguna i think
Vilar from atalante
slyviniho from barca last u 2-3 seasons till u get more money
beckham
appiah on 3 u should have enough
 
cheers ill have alook now do you think these will be able to make a big impact in there first season though i only no a little about christian benitez hes a pretty good goal scorer but i would prefer to have a better goal scorer because he doesnt score enough of what i will need
 
he will with alves upfront and beckham on the right hand side if u sell some players like alliadere u could get a good striker but that is the best u could get with tht cash

not alves or gary o'neil they r quality
 
alves isnt that good tbh he has a ok scoring record but im looking for a striker that can really bang the goals in maybe average a goal a game and for som reason o'neill always becomes unhappy and wants to leave half way through the season and it disrupts the team chemistry
 
ill have to do it when i get to the pc upstairs will probs be 2morrow though as the pc is not working that well

Alves is a decent poacher for me. I spent on Cardozo (Target Man, Play to Feet) and young prospects. Never tried for Hulk. Averaging a goal a game? Very few can do that even the best strikers with a squad of superstars, quite simply you don't have the supply for anyone to do that for boro. I prefer to improve defensively (GK+DC+LB) so don't conceed as often hence just 1 goal can win a game.

O'Neil is alright, decent squad rotation player since he can play centrally or on right. Why did he become unhappy in your other games? Didn't play him? Either way I wouldn't sell him until he became unhappy, say in January sales just so you arn't bringing in to many players at once.

My player recommendations are in the linked topics including LB, RW, GK and Striker, i'm sure someone else recommended MC's but I don't see it as a need at the start.

o'neill was a regular in the cm with didier digard and then all of a sudden it just said that he was looking to find a way out of the riverside stadium
 
Doesn't mean it will happen this season. How did you treat him? often angered/disappointed at him?
 
i treat im the same as eeryone else in the team especially the same as dider digard and julio arca because i wanted them three to be on the same wae length nd be able to play together
