i am currently lying in 13th position 3 points from 4th place i play a 4 3 1 2 formation but really need to change as i end up starting the match good normally going 1-0 up and then losing2-1 or worse i would appreciate all feedback recived.

Switch to a 4-4-2 formation , Play Boothroyd as a complete forward and boyd or mcdonald as a poacher , Maybe try my tactic spurs fm11 (Tottenham, Jan 2011).tac (1.1 KB, 14 views)

Im playing as Derby, and we play quite well playing in a rigid formation. Using short passing down the flanks. Works quite well for me! 4th after 8 games!

cheers ive been using the 442 with short passing diwn the flanks atm and ive picked upthe results currently lying like 7th after 40 games

Peter Odemwingie is a good signing imo. He's old but on my first season with West Brom he's leading the scoring currently 27(2) apps, 17 goals and an average rating of 7.23... How much did you get him for though? If you're still in the transfer window try Christián Benítez and just offer him low wages, he'll accept (atleast he did for me).

Good luck getting promoted. Try and sign some free agents if you can.

Feel free to try my tactics and tell me how it goes, I'm 6th in the premiership and have won the league cup with newly promoted West Brom...

I use a 4-5-1 with two defensive midfielders. One an anchorman and the other a deep playmaker. Two attacking wingers and a playmaker in the middle with two strikers. Fluid, counter attacking, short passing and always tell my team to pass to feet. My striker is set to poacher, Odemwingie makes good use of this formation and nets me alot of goals.

My other tactic (more attacking) is a 4-4-2 (diamond), philosopy Fluid and starting strategy Counter (attacking if I go a goal down). Play an anchorman, two wingers (one support and the other attack on the side with your strongest attacking fullback), an advanced playmaker and a poacher (attacking) with a complete forward (support).

Your tactic is very weak in midfield, I'd suggest moving your attacking midfielder to a defensive one and setting your wide midfielders to attack and see how that goes.

I always use short passing, counter attack and passing to feet and it works wonders. I try to play good football and usually scrape quite a few wins by one goal. Just a few suggestions, anyways.

ime playing like 4 with 2 fast rbs and 2 centre backs as stoppers and then 2 centre mids henderson and thompson then like 2 wingers and ive got de ridder and kink or halliday currently trying to get a new lm and odemwingie and boothroyd upfront so in 10 games theyve scored 38 goals and something like 20 odd between them i paid 4.3 million for him and a few for henderson all my staff went and i dont have a clue what to do and then also i signed roy carrol on a free to replace danny coyne

Yeah Bothroyd and Odemwingie up front is definitely the way to go. Just go to the transfer center and staff search and try and sign some new staff.

You should have an assistant manager, atleast three coaches, 2-3 physios and a couple of scouts at very least.

Left mids... Try Kwadwo Asamoah, Marcell Jensen.
If you can't get them... Hameur Bouazza, Kelvin Etuhu, Antonio Lopez, Denys Garmash.
Just a few suggestions, I don't know what database you're playing with.

the new one i think and ivejust bid for that asmoah and the pretty much single handedly beat newcastle so hopefully after pre season i shud be able to hammer this league to peices hopefully ive kept the same foemation and apart from 2 players i have changed the team but done it earaly enought and i lewin as the physio and just trying to get some decent staff members

i won the championship in my second season witht he spurs tactic i won like 30 and lost 10 and drew 6 scored a few goals decent overall cheers for the help !!
