the three with " dictate tempo " ppm

Instead of coming here to ask, try it out yourself. You'll learn better that way.

If you mean a midfield three like in a 4-5-1 for example then it could work player role wise but I'm not that sure about the PPM. I have a feeling that it might cause some problems. If you have three players trying to dictate tempo then the problem might be that they don't have the same idea about how to play. Think of a club having three managers at the same time, all with a different way of playing.

I wouldn't go for it to be honest, I need a defensive mid/anchorman or my teams leak goals.

This.

There is not really much need to start a thread on it. If you really want to know, ask in here.

It's stickied for a reason.

sorry but questions always get ignored there

too bad i have 3 beast regens with dictate tempo ppms

Well you could compensate with creative freedom and their roles. If possible make one of them a ball-winning midfielder or anchor man with less creative freedom and make the DLPM your main playmaker. Then there should be that one who would try to control the game more than the others.

I am just saying. I would have answered the question in there.

But since you've made a thread already ...

  1. Give them loads of creative freedom, or the most to the one who can use it well.
  2. Get two of them to swap positions frequently, so in attacking moves, if one fails the first, the other can recover in the next one. Works better in 4-2-3-1's with the wingers, attacking midfielder and striker, but you could try with a three-man midfield.
  3. Tell one of them to stop trying to dictate the tempo. If he doesn't want to, get another to get forward whenever possible. That way, when you attack, he can look at where to pass or when to shoot.
But this is only if you want to put it in a 4-3-3.
