Midfield tactics

I'm currently managing Roma and have a good striker(4 star rating) I play up front on his own, and two decent wingers(3 and a half and 4 star ratings). My defence and keeper are also decent.

I have 3 centre midfielders, one who is a defensive mid who are all excellent (4 and a half stars) and I'm just wondering what tactics could I use which would mean I could focus and get the best out of them?

Diamond midfield, DM= anchor man/defensive mid (defend) ; MCL= advanced playmaker (attack) ; MCR= deep lying playmaker (support)......

Nice triangle for any side but especially for an Italian side

I agree with the above, it could be more helpful if you shared which midfielders you had at your disposal. I'm assuming Dani is your DM. If you're in season one I would suggest Pjanic as advanced playmaker & Gago as deep lying playmaker. Personally, I use Dani as the DLP & Gago as anchor, but that might be just me.

ahh, going to change my formation to a diamond thanks, and the players I have are all regens as i'm pretty far into the game haha
