Midfield Trio!

I'm currently in the second season as Tottenham Hotspur and i'm using a tactic which is a flat 4 back line, a defensive midfielder and then two center midfielders.. then 3 strikers up top.
So, i'm using Sandro, Palacios and Modric as my midfield trio, is there any players that work well like this?
And i'm not using player roles i'm using the arrows.
 
in a 3 midfield i tend to keep my DM as a tall player with good heading to keep out long balls, aided by a player who can get back and forth as a BTB who can help defend but go forward when needed and an advanced playmaker who can dribble/pass and create chances with the front 3.
 
DM you could have players similiar to Fellani but if you want a cheaper option id suggest looking at Annan at schalke played brilliantly for me and hes got good defending skills.

Not too sure about B2B.

Advanced playmaker i suppose you could play your Van der vaart, fabregas or Gerrard style players here.
 
Ok thanks yeah Man Utd signed Fellani so i'm guessing his price woulda' skyrocketed... I'll check out Annan thanks, Modric could be B2B? He's been good for me, better than Vaart anyway.
 
Not sure yet mate, in March gonna buy new players in January.. so whatever budget i get.. plus the departure of Bale as i don't use wingers anymore. Um also a few other players say Kranjcar so a decent ammount.
 
I play this formation with my Blackpool team and you should sign Charlie Adam as your advanced playmaker,also I signed karl henry from Wolves as my DM and he is very solid

wins me the titles, sometimes i switch modric and canales and sub lennon in instead of canales then
