Leeds United Announce Changes for the Upcoming Season

View attachment 68623

Leeds United Football Club would like to announce the managerial changes made at the club on the 7th of July. Simon Grayson has quit his job after accepting the role of Assistant Manager at Blackpool Football Club, a team where he had managed at before, and we have quickly looked to hire young manager Michael Henson as the new manager of Leeds United Football Club.

We would like to thank Simon Grayson for his effort during his time at the club, and the work and effort he has put it behind the scenes also in the time he has been here. Simon was a fan favourite here and will be missed by the loyal Leeds United fans.

We ensure you Michael Henson is the man for this job, and that he can consolidate a respectable position in the Premier League within four seasons. We expect him to win Coca-Cola League 1 this year, and we hope to bring back the fabulous times we had at Leeds United when Don Revie was in charge here. Financially we will be backing him with a budget of around £1m, we feel this is enough money to bring in any players he needs, and also enough to shift on to the wage budget if he should go over it.

Michael Henson was later quoted as saying...

I’m delighted to take on such a good job with a great opportunity of getting into the Premier League in a few seasons, I hope it will work out for me and hopefully I can bring the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea to Elland Road within the next few years. I’ll be looking to add to the squad with a few players brought into the club to act as rotation players.

Pre-Season update will be soon.
