What is the point of it when you are trying to sign a player?
I mean, why do you put one into his contract? Does it make him easier to sign?

if the club want to buy him and you keep rejecting they will try and trigger the clause to get him . The clause is if they bid the amount of money say his clause is £5mill and they bid £5mill you can't reject it

yes they do, Cristiano Ronaldo and kaka both have 1 Billion minimum release clause, sometimes i laugh when i see crappy players with 120 plus minimum release clause

yeah in spain every player must have manditory minimum release clause. messi's one is currently £225 million (as of 18th spetember 2009)

if you trigger his clause they will automatically open contract talks but if the player isnt interested he it wont make him any more open to joining

No he means when you are actually offering a contract to a player does it make him more likely to sign if he has a bigger release clause or a smaller one.

no it makes no difference. the only factor is wther hes interested in joining your team
