Minimum Fee Release Clause

Hello guys. I've got a bit of a problem. I've got a player, bought with 15.5 mil euro, 3 years "ago" (game year is 2015). From the moment i've signed the player, his agent always made the contract offer with Minimum Fee Release Clause at 16.5 mil euro. By now, my player has the value at 30 mil euro, but can't make the stupid agent to let me offer a contract offer with a larger Minimum Fee Release Clause. Is this a bug ? Or i can do something about it? I even tried to offer the stupid agent a 7 mil fee, but that didn't work. Any suggestions ? Thanks

Give him a new contract without minimun fee release. You may need to give him some extra stuff, like more signing on fee, or higher wages though.

Right ... the ONLY solution was to offer 7.25 mil euro fee to the agent AND ALSO to the player. This was the only condition to make the agent drop the release clause or to raise it as i please. But anyway ... this sucks, but then again, the player's worth it

So you've basically spent over £15m on him just to get him to sign a new deal, all for the sake of getting rid of a £15m transfer release. Surely if you sell him for let's say £30m, you will now make less than £15m any way? This has to be a bug. I'd report it in the 'report bugs' sections.

Actually ... i really don't wanna sell him. That's why i wanted to have a higher release fee clause. And be sure that i could sell this player for much more than 30 mil. Better invest 15 mil into the player and still keep him, rather than losing him for just 16,5 mil,when only his starting price is 30 mil.
