Missing cursor

So basically when i go into football manager sometimes the cursor is completely missing, therefore making fm unplayable. Sometimes when i close FM and open it up again it is OK, but its becoming really annoying having to do that every time. I've tried playing about with 'cursor settings' on control panel but nothing helps.

Anyone got any ideas?
