Mobile Phone - Favourite Apps/Games

Thought i would post a thread on this as most people probably own a phone or iPod that uses 'apps'.

I own a HTC Hero which runs Android by google. These are.my top/reccommended apps;

1. Gmote.

Install it on the phone then install a small program on your computer. I can now use ny phone to control my laptop. It's best uses include a 'clicker' for PowerPoint presentations, controlling music & movies. I can also wirelessly control my mouse (using the touch screen on the phone) which lets me do pretty much everything (Browse files, talk to people on MSN, open the internet, post this thread and more).

2. Beeb Player

Basically an Iplayer app on the phone. Sucks the **** outta the battery but is pretty decent quality and useful in lectures

3. Opera Mini

Don't like Opera on my computer but I use it to browse the web on my mobile phone. A lot better then the original browser and also quicker.

4. Soccer Livescores

All games, all goals, all the action, one app

5. MeeboIM

Used for MSN & Facebook chat. Plenty of applications out there for this and it's probably whatever you go for first would be your favourite, this was mine.

Anyone got any other reccommendations? for Iphone, Android or otherwise?

My Main Applications are:

Shazam
Facebook
Fring (msn type thing)

Only really use the facebook one or Shazam if i really need to know the name of a song.

On my iphone the main apps I use are..

Sky Mobile TV
Get to watch good quality live Sky Sports and ESPN anywhere. Pretty cool

Wikipanion
The best Wikipedia app I've used. Very helpful in pub quizzes.

NetNewsWire
Let's me check my RSS feeds and syncs with Google Reader

Echofon
The Twitter client I currently use. Nice and simple.

Facebook
The Facebook App on the iphone is impressive. Has pretty much everything the main site has.

Peep - the twitter app that came with the phone.

Facebook - the Facebook app, but it needs a lot of work - I tend to use the m.facebook.com.

On my Iphone, the apps i regularly use are; Facebook, Twitterific, ITN News, Google, Flixster Movies, Paper Toss and BubbleWrap.

i have the iPhone and just downloaded the Amateur Surgeon app, its funny the way they swap major utensils in surgery for everyday objects

Angry birds is the best app i got at the moment. Got 3 stars on all of the first 3 levels, working on the last 2, think i got about 20 odd stars to get.
Also use Facebook, Sky News, Sky Sports News, and my kids love Talking Carl

The only thing I don't like about my phone?

I can't play Paper Toss

Yes!

Paper Toss version was released for Android. Anyway, few apps/games recently that I am enjoying...

Abduction - fun game, think it's on Iphone also. Gets pretty tiresome after a while though.

Blow Up - Cool game where you plant bombs to blow up a building, have to get all the parts of the building to fall beneeath a certain height to win.

Falling Ball - simple game where you tilt the phone to make the man move and avoid the balls. Not got over 1 min yet

Downloaded a few games today including Angry Birds, Doodle Jump and PoolStar.

Would really reccomend PoolStar as the graphics are superb. Angry birds is also fun but I get easily frustrated XD. Where as Doodle Jump is just to repetitive.

I love TeamViewer on the iphone, i can access all my files on my desktop computer.
It's a great app and I couldnt work without it.

MP3 is cool.

Myplayer. (bbc iplayer) All on android.

Ebay is also a great app if like me you addicted to buying and selling junk.
