Thought id start a save with monaco (like the idea of all that money), and try and make them a dominent force in world football but to be honest im useless when it comes to tactics.
Here are the 3 tactics im using if someone can give me any advice on them it would be appreciatted, before my laptop goes though the window lol

Should be posted to tactics forum mate, you'll get a lot more of the tactical guys to see it there. They'll have the best answers

I've took over Monaco from the 3rd season and basically won everything domestically for the next 2 seasons. Your only contender is PSG and they are really big spenders. I'm using Jasser's I'M Possible tactic for the first season and Bomb tactic for the second season. Really easy with lots of quality players at its disposal already.

Are you really only in August of your first year? If so your team definitely hasn't adjusted to the tactics and gelled with so many new players in the squad.

Advice: Screw slow tempo, possession tactics. You have the players who would be able to dominate possession without those instructions. "High tempo" + "pass into space" has worked well for me, maybe through in "run at defence" to cause some panic.

I agree with Alienman. You'll need some more time for tactics to gel, but I would definitely up the tempo and play a more direct game. I started like you with my Everton side. Now, 7 years in or so, I find myself playing a more direct game based on pacey wing play and brilliant AMC play. Stick with a 4-2-3-1 (and with CMs is fine too if one has a dedicated defensive duty). If you want to keep the 4-3-3, that's fine but I find that the 4-2-3-1 is better for continental play. I'm not the biggest fan of the 4-2-2-2; I'd buy some ML/MR types and play a classic 4-4-2 (also a must you find a great striker for the support role). Finally, a couple years into the game the 4-1-2-1-2 becomes a big way to stop the 4-2-3-1. Incorporate it into your repertoire now, you won't regret it. Just get some decent wingback-types.

anyone else with any advice, its the team instructions that i struggle with

High line /hassle /play out of defence / more expression / short passing / narrow - works for me when playing 4-4(2DM)-2
