More budget than usual

I don't know if anyone has ever experienced this, but everything in the game has risen budget player values wages ect. Rooney on the game is worth £39,000,000 and on 300G p/w. i really dont get why the game does this it only happens from time to time. Personally i hate it because you pay more for players and their wages are 5 times more than what they should be.
Has anyone ever experienced this.
 
Are you sure the currency hasn't changed accidentally? It does that from time to time, all you got to do is change it back to pounds in settings.
 
Nope its still £ its a **** take because i get used to what people are worth messi and Ronaldo are worth £59 mill its realistic values but still seems a bit of a glitch
 
Although that doesn't sound like too much for Rooney to be honest. £39,000,000 is probably about right value wise and we all know how money hungry he is so his wage could be right as well.

How is it a glitch if they're realistic values? Yes it makes them hard to sign but that's just realistic as well. The only team that could sign Rooney in RL would probably be Real Madrid.
 
it Real life values but no FM values which is what its been like for years but its only on the latest patch its happened on.
 
there is nothing "strange" or "glitchy" about this, think about it, its natural...

Rooney is easily worth that now and realistically if anyone had to buy him, he would be double that price if not more in today's market... he probably has a 25% yearly wage increase in his contract and you are probably around the 2015/2016 mark or so....

As for Ronaldo and Messi, they are the best in the world, not one club in the world can afford to buy one of these two players at the moment... (Except City maybe) so that is normal that they would be that much... that is how much they are worth now and as above, would be sold for twice that price if more...

so its normal mate :)

oh and the title is very misleading... it has nothing to do with budgets :)
 
the united save i have they had 800 million debt which is wrong and the budget was between 23 to 28.5 million budget. normally its 17 max. see what i mean althought its realistic its slightly odd how it changes every 3 or 4 saves i do.
 
firstly United would be close on that amount of debt (in real life by now) we were on 786m months ago... so they probably forecast that we would accumulate more debt hence we start with a inflated amount....

here off 11.3 start of the season with United...

put all the extra money you have in your wage budget, at the end of December after my great results, the board asked me change my expectations, I still chose Title Challenge but they gave me an extra 25 million...

Thats not an unrealistic amount. I find that if a players playing well he will want a bigger contract. If he gets a bigger wage he will cost more to buy so his market value increases. I had Hazard worth £18M and played 2 crackers of seasons and offered him a new contract to double his wages to 180k a week. He accepted and a few days later his value jumped to £26M. Same situation if a player is near the end of his contract, his value will lower as it will be easier to sign him cheaper. It makes perfect logical sence.
 
Because Raikan's screeshot background is class and i wanted to how to put them on if you use steam and also how do you put facepacks in and also league badges and team badges
 
cheers im using steam but i dont know where to put them on steam ( where to extract them to )
 
Installation Instructions:

Extract the file (using either (Winrar or 7-zip or The Unarchiver for Mac) into your skins folder this is by default (you may need to create the skins folder if it doesn’t already exist)

For Win 7/Win Vista extract to:
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\skins


For Mac OS X extract to:
/Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2011/skins

To select the skin in game you will need to:
1. Load the game, and go into the preferences -> Display and Sound menu
2. Untick ‘Use Skin Cache’ and tick ‘Always Reload Skin On Confirm’ then select Confirm and
3. Select the skin from the drop down menu, select confirm again and your new skin should now display
