Most effective way to find regens?

I found the regen dates after doing a quick Google search; I am curious as to what is the most effective way to find these hidden gems? I tried giving one of my scouts a new assignment to scout France for players with 3 1/2 stars or more PA (March 8th), but he only did the assignment for one day? I want him to comb the nation for at least a month to make sure we didn't miss anyone - How to I make this happen? I don't see a duration option when scheduling a new assignment.

well you want to search atleast 4 1/2 stars and max age 17 also in that one day he would have scouted all the players in France with your search criteria given he has high stats in adaptability and determination known as an explorer scout

Look through France's (Or whatever country you want) Youth teams, especially U18s

After "that" goes away, you can expand your search to 18 and 19 years old. I got a Turkish FB with the age of 19, directly to my 1st team (United) in the 2nd season and besides some errors made by inexperience, he score one goal on my Champions league final against Barca.

Go on search players.

Add contract status as 'youth' and click the age tab so it goes from youngest > oldest and then browse through the regens!

Regens who have quickly been snapped up won't show under youth so just remove that attribute and keep the age and maximum 17 and look at the value category to find the best ones.

Search any relevant u21 squads on/after their regen dates. It is a tedious process but very much worthwhile. Here are the regen dates to help you:

Go onto search, set maximum age to 18 and then select every attribute and put the value at say 10, then lower the amount to match until you start to get players appearing...shotgun approach but it works for me!
