Hi there, this is my first post and i'm hoping i've posted in the correct place. I have searched existing tactics on this website and have searched the forums but I still cannot find anything successful and accurate so i'm hoping you will be able to help.

Essentially what i'm looking for is the closest possible thing anybody has to the Jose Mourinho 4-3-1-2. He believes that the most important thing is not to concede and therefore you will always be halfway to victory. He also mentioned that when not in possession of the ball, the midfield 3 "sweep" from side to side until possession has been regained. It also relies heavily on full backs providing width on the flanks, a powerful striker and an intelligent technical striker.

I have the correct players for the formation to work, but seem to constantly get counter attacked or concede from set-pieces. I have tried to recreate it but I can't get it to work. I understand this is a big ask but surely it must be possible. Thanks for your time!

id use stuart careys 4-3-1-2 attacking tactics, they are truly fantastic in all leagues and are one of few tactics around that work in alot of different leagues mate, hope i helped

Yes! The link is exactly the sort of tactic I want. Do you have a link to your own version? I will give the StuartCarey one a go as you have both recommended it aswell. Thanks!

My own version is work in progress as I find it hard to get it exact with the shape of the formation. If you could wait maybe a week, it will be done but nothing yet.

If all else fails you could make it yourself

I think I will give the StuartCarey one a go for now as it's ready. But obviously you have based yours on what i'm after so i'll definetely test yours as soon as it's out. Thanks for all your help mate.
