My 4231 deep

Hi all
Well I developed a 4231 tactic, with deep midlefeld (dm's). It's my ''first'' tactic, that is more or less geting the job done. Don't know if it's a plug&play tactic, but I play the same way home and away. Attacking is my style :P

2xCD (ball playing)
2xWing backs
2xDM (one support- deep lying playmaker, one defend)
3xAM (side palyers are inside forwards, middle one is support)
1xComplete forward

Now I know the tactic is not without flaws. So I'm wondering if someone would give it a try and report about his sucses/disaster. I would apreciate some ideas or suggestions of improving it. Ou and sorry about my english :P

I was in my 4th season with spurs on the 10.2 patch. (A patch that seems to have made the game impossible for me). I had 3 successive 6th place finishes and generally did ok but then in my 4th season it all went downhill. I was hanging on to my job by a thread and every game was my last, until I downloaded this tactic.

I then went 15 unbeaten to the end of the season and somehow ended up 6th AGAIN!! So it worked well, but there wasn't a lot of goals scored and I had a lot of draws in there, kept dominating and going 1-0 up before letting in late goals.

Anyway as I had done 4 seasons without winning anything other than league cup I was inspired to start a new game with your tactic.....1st game of season (again spurs). I played Chelski away, the game was a nil nil draw and my team game as good as they got. A good start I thought......then 4 straight 1-0 nil defeats since. All have been against teams that I really should be beating...Wolves at home, West Ham at home...Clearly goals scoring a problem, even tho I have Modric, Kranjcar and lennon all supporting crouch or defoe.....

Since this patch I have not done anything other than s**t on the game and I like to think of myself as a seasoned pro, as I have been playing and mastering every version since the Amiga!

Well tnx for the replay Maverick. Really apreciate some feedback. Well haven't had the scoring isue, my problem was leaking goals :D
Have you tried tweaking the role of the striker? Poacher or something like that. Personaly I like that he sticks to his position, so I set the wide play to normal. So that he doesnt wonder wide.
The supporting AMC (central): could trie setting him as advanced playmaker, so he feeds the side AMC's and the striker.
Well thats what I would trie. But again I'm not a tactic wiz, so don't know if it works.
