Kevin Dillon Sacked!

Sadness struck Aldershot as former Aldershot Town boss Kevin Dillon got sacked from his post at the club early in the afternoon on July 1st. The Aldershot boss got sacked after the new owners thought that he was not right for the job. He has said to have been really sad that he has had to leave and the frontrunners for the job are currently, Paul Trollope and current Assistant Manger Gary Owers . A few fans have already jumped on the conspiracy wagon claiming Dillon wanted to leave due to lack of communication. Many rumours have been swirling around but surely we will not know the truth until the new manager is announced.

Is This Bloke A Joke?

The Aldershot fans were left in utter disbelief last night when rookie-manager Joe Hall, born and raised in Bristol was appointed new manager of Aldershot. Gary Owers, Assistant Manager at Recreation Ground, said "He is a very qualified coach and is a strong mental person and that's what I and lots of other people look for in a manager, mental toughness." Joe Hall was almost laughed at as he was in the middle of his press-conference but the new-man covered his frustration and anger with a cheeky smile. Joe Hall will start training with the Aldershot squad on Wednesday in preperation for they're pre-season tour of Scotland.

Three Transfers And Aldershot Have More Than They Started With!

After 3 transfers Aldershot have more money than they started with thanks to a cash injection from the new owners. The transfer budget was £35K now it's £900K. Aldershot have signed expirenced 31-year-old Wayne Andrews from a free transfer, 17-year-old german midfielder Christopher Buchtmann on loan from Fulham and japanese defender Yuki Hayashi from Plymouth for £16K.

Joe said "with more money in the back pocket im not going to be afrid to use it!"
