Hey guys, any help would be appreciated.

I've never properly used a Deep lying forward before so i'd like a bit of help.

My current set up is 3 flat midfielders and then in attack i have two Inside forwards on attack.

What would my DLF be better as? Support or Attack??

saying you have 3 flat midfielders doesn't say anything at all helpful. do you have a playmaker or BBM? The problem with IF's is that they lack presence in the AMC part of the pitch. If you don't have a midfielder either in attack or an BBM to put pressure in the middle third of the penalty box then the IF's will run into the centerbacks and get traped between him and the fullback everytime.

Basicaly if you have him as attack he will only come into play in the attacking phase of play while if he is in support he will partake first in the transision phase and then the attacking phase. A false 9 is more popular then a DLF as a DLF is more effective with a second striker to pair up with.

What do you think? What do you want from them? What roles do you have in midfield? It's no good just copying whatever we say if you don't know how you want the tactic to function. You need to know what you want from the striker. That'll make choosing role and duty easy.

I'd like him to create as well as score. As i have no AM he can drop back leaving space for the IF's to go into.

My midfielders are RPM DLP(D) CM(s)

Sounds like you've answered your own question. ;)
