FM09 was my first FM, and did bad so hoping to improve.

Chelsea Unveil New Manager: Nick van Aalst

Chelsea have unveiled new manager, Mr. Nick van Aalst, a relative newcomer. Van Aalst has had previous international experience with Australia and hopes to create a european champion winning side with Chelsea.

van Aalst say "I am very exited about new challenge and wants to press forward with a few instant signings". Transfer Rumours include: David Villa, Mirko Vucinic and Francesco Totti.

Chelsea Sign Di Natale

31 year old Antonio Di Natale has moved to Chelsea for a reported 19.5 million pounds. Chelsea manager van Aalst had this to say "Antonio is a great player and is exactly what this club needs to win championships"


Chelsea Loan Oddo

Massimo Oddo has moved to Chelsea on a 6 month loan deal until 29.1.2010

Good start and good signings though I wouldn't have paid that much mate.

It was either Di Natale for 19.5 or Del Piero for 12mil but Del Piero Rejected the contract because he wants to finish his career at Juventus, but Di Natale has been playing great with a few assists

Player of the Month: Drogba

4 goals in 3 games in the Premier League saw him collect Premier League player of the month and Chelsea Player of the month. Also assisting the 2 Essien goals, Drogba has been in top form.

Chelsea to sign Ozil

20 year old German attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil has agreed to move to Chelsea on the 1st of January 2010 for 24 million pounds.


Bit sad that i spent a bit much and after the transfer window, but he's gonna be great for the future, would have liked to get him before the closing of the transfer window, but i still got him
