Some of you guys might be wandering, where is Life after Rafa? Well to cut a long story short it was deleted due to a mix up between me and Redders and I beg people to pm me about it rather than talk about it on here. So here goes.

To make it clear: This is the same story as Life After Rafa.

7th July 2009: Rafa Benitez was removed from his post as Liverpool manager and young rookie Daniel Oakes was announced as the new manager.

In Daniel Oakes' first press conference as Liverpool manager, he stated that he was not going to sign any players. ''I believe that this Liverpool side are capable of winning the league this season with the squad we have got, we have not got many funds to work with and I will keep it this way by keeping the money in the club for the first season. I think we can do this, I just hope the Liverpool fans will believe in me''.

2009/2010 Season

Premier League

premier-league-trophy.jpg

I told the fans I could do it! I have finally delivered them the Premier League that they deserved. We were fantastic this season, winning the league by five clear points and proving that with a bit of good guidance, we can do anything. Below are a full list of our fixtures.

Champions League

In addition to the Premier League, we were so close to bringing the Champions League trophy back to our fans. I am also very impressed by our performance in this trophy, however I am very disappointed at losing to Manchester United in the final. I just hope that this trophy does not elude us for years to come.

F.A. Cup

I am absolutely delighted to bring the F.A. Cup back to our fans. It has been a great year for us and to add this to our cabinet once again was brilliant for us. We are quickly becoming the best side in England once again.

Carling Cup

This is fantastic, I did not expect this at all. In my first season as manager, I have made Liverpool a treble winning side. Although this isn't one of the more important trophies but it is always nice to win it.

Transfers

These are the transfers that I completed this season and as you will see, there is not much activity. I am delighted to achieve the treble with the players that were at the club when I joined.

Players who made it happen

Fernando Torres has had a fantastic season this year for us and to the delight of all of our fans. He has been in stonking form, scoring 29 goals in 28 appearances, with five man of the match awards.

steven_gerrard.jpg

Steven has had a brilliant season yet again for the Liverpool faithful. He scored 23 goals in 34 appearances and was in fine form throughtout the season. He also picked up 8 man of the match awards.

Well done on the treble. Bet the fans were happy about the CL loss...

Again, apologies for accidentally deleting the old thread!

Haha.. what season are you actually in?
Was it the 5th?

I am in the fourth season at the moment. Really enjoying the save again, else I would have restarted.

Sounds good, can't wait to see it back up to date with the regular updates :)

Cool, did well with no transfers, you sold Voronin :O He is quality :P

Yeah I can not wait to get it updated back to where it was before!

Hope you are joking! lol. I sold him when I started as Liverpool...got around £4m for him I think.

unlucky on getting it deleted accidentally by redders, good luck with this one mate

2010/2011

Premier League

I am absolutely delighted to yet again lift the Premier League trophy aloft for this great club. We have had yet another excellent season in the league and just edged out Chelsea by one point. After some heavy investment in the transfer market, I was very confident of winning the league this year. Seen Below are the full list of fixtures:

F.A. Cup

FA-Cup-Trophy.jpg

Together with the Premier League, we yet again won the F.A Cup. We beat Newcastle, Swansea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Blackburn and Chelsea en route to retaining the coveted trophy and I am absolutely delighted.

Champions League

This is a trophy that continues to elude us. We have proved twice that we are the best team in England but we cannot seem to challenge for the European gong so much. We were knocked out in the Semi Finals this year by Real Madrid and this is something I will be looking to cut out on for years to come. We must learn to dominate Europe. The eventual winners were Real Madrid who beat Barcelona on penalties.

Carling Cup

This year, I decided to start the kids for the Carling Cup to give them a bit of experience, Arsene Wenger style. It did not pay off for us this year however as we crashed out at the first round.

Community Shield

charity+shield.jpg

This was the first trophy we won in 2010/2011 by beating Manchester City at Wembley. We were brilliant in that match and it kicked off another treble winning season.

Transfers

Unlike our first year of transfers, this season was extremely active. Our biggest signing was striker Sergio Aguero who joined the club for a fee that could eventually cost us £85 million.

We also saw 34 players leave the club, most noticeably Ryan Babel to Aston Villa for £9 million.

Treble Winning Stars

fernando2btorres_iv1.jpg

Fernando yet again had a great season for us, scoring 32 goals in 38 appearances. He thoroughly enjoyed his newly renewed strike force with Sergio Aguero.

steven_gerrard_fight_back.jpg

Our club talisman Steven Gerrard had another fantastic season, scoring 25 goals from 35 appearances from central midfield. Steven really is showing no signs of stopping.

sergio_aguero1.jpg

Sergio Aguero had a great debut season for us. Despite not being thoroughly fit for the whole year, Sergio managed to score 19 goals in 33 appearances and I believe he is only going to get better.

2011/2012

Premier League

storyada43167e23a7ebd7ff72e2788b64fcd.jpg

I am absolutely ecstatic to win a hat trick of Premier League trophies in a row. We had a fantastic year in the league yet again and just about edged Chelsea out on goal difference. We both finished on 85 points but we won it with the greater goal difference and it went right down to the wire.

Champions League

I am disappointed with yet another year of the Champions League eluding me, yet again Real Madrid knocked us out comprehensively. This is a trophy I want so much, yet we cannot seem to get our hands on it.

F.A. Cup

Aswell as a hat trick of Premier League wins to celebrate this season, we also managed to capture the F.A. Cup for a third consecutive year. This trophy always seems to find its way into our hands.

Carling Cup

carling-cup.jpg

This season I decided not to play the kids in this competition this year and this was the result. We yet again picked up the Carling Cup and I am delighted.

Community Shield

We won our second consecutive Community Shield this year in a great win with Chelsea. We deserved to win the match but Chelsea gave their all, as usual.

Transfers

As it was like last season we made a lot of moves in the transfer market. I believed we needed to boost our defense so as a result I succeeded in the signing of Phillippe Mexes and Domenico Criscito. We also made a great free transfer capture in Franck Ribery, who went on to have a fair season for us.

Quad-worthy Players

Sergio had a great season for us. He managed to score 22 goals in 37 appearances.

fernando_torres_280_500340a2.jpg

Fernando, the man who is quickly becoming one of the clubs talisman. He had yet another good season, scoring 20 goals from 34 appearances.

Yup it was :D. I am all up to date now with the seasons. I will probably update in January for half the season.

doesn't he have a release clause on £52M or something??:O

He signed a new contract I think :S And anyway I could never afford that much up front. It was in installments and future fees.
