My new Liverpool Game

Hi I have just started a new game as Liverpool. You might just be thinking whoop de doo Basil! But, I've sold every single player, including Gerrard and Torres and Carra. Oh and the foreign reserves and U-18s. I have 141 Million pounds and I am in January 2009. I have 22 players mostly young English ones in my first teams (the ones you haven't heard of, I have promoted from U-18's. I'm 19th in the league 6 points from safety. I have 141 Million and my aim is to finish in the top half. Can I do it. I will regularly update you on how I do. Any suggestions are welcome!
This is my team. I've only spent 70 Million on.

Yeah it's not easy when you have only got half a team with most of them being distinctly average mate!

Because you are 6 points away from being safe (not in the relegation zone).

Have your three CB's as Cahill, Steven Taylor and Curtis Davies. Obviously Richards if you get him but he is vastly more expensive most of the time.

M J in CM is cool, but you need another more create midfielder, English ofc .

well u cnt be a gd manage if u sold half ur sqwad lol u need ur top players likes of gerrard and torres if u wnt to do well with them 6m anit to bad to start with in jan u get 20m fair play tho u destroyed livepool nice 1 m8

I would never sell Torres, Gerrard and Carragher, no matter what price. Torres never had less than 25 goals per season (injured most of them) for me and most assist is Gerrard while Carragher is very reliable on the back.

I got good deals with Mascherano and Alonso with Barcelona, fetching 60m both of them. Babel and Lucas both can be 30m to Man City or Chelsea so thats 90m to spend.

I doubt you got mascherano for a good price, 80% of the transfer fee goes to west ham!
