My own personal info as a manager...

So players develop stats and personalities and particularly- have favoured personnel. I am now 5 seasons in with the same team from the start and regularly praise my players and keep some signed just out of loyalty (and incidentally my player loyalty is **** too) but I have no favoured personnel and my managerial experience is automatic. Is it normal not to have any after so long?

We don't have a favored personnel section unfortunately, it's a shame as every other in game manager has it, and I wish it was implemented so I could list my favorite players / staff.
If you mean none of your players have you listed in their favored personnel then yes, it is a bit weird after 5 years with the same set of players.
I'm not sure why your managerial experience is still automatic, who are you managing & have you been successful?

Manager experience will never change, that's what you choose as you create a profile, it's manager reputation that changes.

Yeah some of my players have me listed as their favourite I was just hoping it could be the other way around but thanks for clearing that up. I had set my managerial experience as Sunday league but it defaulted to automatic. Aw well shame about the favoured personnel thing I thought it would have been an obvious inclusion.
