My players dont increase in value

First of all couldnt find another thread, if there is one my bad.

I have played half a season with Lyon and my players havent increased in value yet.
Im in the first place, playing great and they are not increasing, resulting in some low bids from other clubs unsetteling my players.
Because of course I dont want to sell Benzema to Real for 15.000.

Do any of you have the same problem and if, how did you fix it?

well I do have the problem, but in L1 usually if a player performs well and wins some trophies his value will increase, though not dramatically he also needs to play regularly.
 
In 9.2 they increased through out the season, now e.g. Bezema is still valued the same as he was when i started.

Could it be a bug?
Right now im trying to reinstall FM.
 
It isn't a bug... they just dont increase as regularly as they did in the new patch.
 
Maybe if you do well in the Champions League and give players long contracts then their values should increase a bit.
 
In both my Man Utd and Welling United game the value of my player have increased, not rapidly but they haven't stalled.

For example for Man Utd, Petrucci was valued at £200,000 and now in Jan of my next season he is worth £1.5m this is after 15 appearances in the 1st team.

On the lower scale at Welling I signed Noone on a free 1st season. He was immediately worth £3,000, after 2 amazing seasons with a BSS play off win and ratings average of over 7 both seasons. He is now worth £14,000.
 
I had the same problem....i bought Zhirkov for 18m, who has played almost every game, has an average rating of 7.92, scored 15goals, 29assists, yet his value has gone down to 14m!
as has Steven Taylor who was worth 4.5m, has played every game, average rating of 7.44, and his value dropped to 3.3m!!!
It seems like a poor flaw in the game mechanics, but as for Frankastair12, if you don't want to sell Benzema for 12million, change your asking price to whatever, and select to reject all bids.

Maybe that's because he isn't worth the 18M you paid? xD
 
I think this happens with most people. Ive found only player who play well in europe increse but only big in youngsters
 
My players seem to increase to be honest, as long as they play, Paloschi increased from 5M to 20M in a single season :/
 
Cristaldo increased from 220k to 19M
Paloschi from 4M to 18M
Santon from 900k to 11M
Monzon from 3M to 5.25 M
 
Reputation of the club and reputation of the league play a part in the value of players. So players' values will change based on those factors too.

thats true, in the patch 9.1 i edited man city with 1000 reputation so they can't sign players, and i could sign srna for 10M when he was bought for 15
 
I find that even if the players value doesn't increase or you've signed someone whose value has decreased then if they are wanted and are a decent player you can make a good profit on them.
Ive never once lost money on a player ive signed and sold always got my money back that i paid for them at least
 
When start a new game I will buy or keep 2 types of players. The players that would give the biggest economic benefit and players that would develop into stars. The former are those who would have high resale value thus will give you more transfer funds like Cardozo, Xabi Alonso, Ryan Babel and Lucas.

The second ones would be the likes of Balotelli, Santon, di maria, torje, veloso, zapata, sakho and Asenjo who would win you the prem or any cup after 1 or 2 season.

The downside of this is in the 1st season you will suffer huge losses and the board may not like you, plus you may not win any cup but in the 2nd season you will reap the benefit of having better players and shows of club profit
 
Also age has to do alot with value,for example older players are lesser worth than younger players with similair stats
