I want to share my 'managerial experience' managing QPR for the first time in my Football Manager history:) The season is about to end (currently in April) and my QPR team is doing very well indeed. They have surpassed the bookmakers prediction(s). Currently my team is sitting nicely at 3rd place of the Coca-cola Championship. Promotion to the BPL is just around the corner. They are playing with their heart out to ensure they end the season at 2nd place i.e. automatic promotion.

I am playing with a traditional formation 4-4-2. In my next thread I will be sharing my signing for my first season at QPR. For those who are currently managing QPR, I am happy to exchange tactics and players as well as other stories about FM2010.

Cheers.

p/s my team just drew with Reading (1-1) and now is just 1 point behind Newcastle at 2nd place.

Cheers(H)

i am using a netbook at the moment as my PC is running the FM2010:) My QPR is leading Sheff. Wednesday 2-0. Will get it posted soon. Cheers mate

Here are my signings for my first season at QPR:

- Ebi Smoralek (Polish striker) - signed him for free. Best signing of the season. He had so far scored 28 goals in all competitions. Had made a total of 37 apps.

- Javi Baraja (DRC) - signed for RM550K from Valladolid. quite a signing too. solid for coca-cola championship

- Morgan Schneiderlin - my most expensive signing. signed him for Euro 3.1 million from Soton. A solid DMC. One for the future!!

- Celso Borges signed him from Fredrikstad for Euro 475k. Good AMC. For the future too. Only 21 years old

- Jonathan Cristaldo signed him from Velez for Euro1.9 million. Had scored 7 goals in total of 14 apps (bought him in January transfer window). 21 years old also. One for the future.

= Total spending about Euro 6 million.

- Ritchie de Laet loaned him from MU. Good DRLC for Coca Championship. Average rating now 7.06

So there you are my signings for my 1st season at QPR
I have a list of scouted players as well. will share with you guys.
Cheers :)

p/s final score QPR 3 - Sheff Wed 0!!

A quick update. My QPR team is in the final of Coca-cola championship play-off. We will be playing Sheff. United. But the bad news is all my midfield star players are out injured. My last two outings with Sheff United were very close encounters. Drew & a narrow win. May be I need to find tune the tactics for this last match, departing from my traditional 4-4-2 formation, instead play with one lone striker upfront.

Wish we luck :)

p/s playing FM on a small data base can be painful. Cannot scout/buy (if I hv the funds :)) all m previous dream players.

I am done with QPR. Lost to Sheff United 1-0 at the final play off. I am quitting QPR and will start managing Birmingham City instead and will play on high data base :) Will update.
