Using the default database, starting with England fully loaded but may roam elsewhere if I feel the need... I've already played up to the start of the 2016/17 season, but felt like writing it up so here it is:

Tuesday 5th June 2011 - Cards pull an ace from the pack

View attachment 210836

Surrey based Conference South side Woking FC have appointed young rookie manager Paul Grundy. 'The Cards' as they are known by the fans have an excellent stadium for their current level of football: the 6,036 capacity Kingfield Stadium.

The new Woking boss sat his first press conference today & went on record saying he was the man to take Woking back to the Conference National, a league they were relegated from in 2008/2009 after well over 10 seasons in non-league's top flight.

Friday 5th August 2011 - Pre Season over, time for action!

A Productive pre season saw Woking only defeated once in a 7:0 demolition job at the hands of Scottish giants Celtic infront of a near-capacity Kingfield. Victories over lower league sides Raynes Park Vale, Kingstonian were high points along with a solid 1:1 home draw with Football League outfit Yeovil Town.

Sunday 18th September 2011 - Woking on fine form & defeat Weston-Super-Mare 5:0!

6 wins from 7 games see's Woking sit 2nd in the Conference South table, 3 points behind Welling United (who are also the one team to defeat Woking so far this season). This excellent run was continued yesterday as Weston-Super-Mare came to Kingfield & got hammered 5:0

Sunday 30th October 2011 - Cards reach FA Cup prope

Woking have reached the 1st Round proper of the FA Cup after a victory in the 4th Qualifying Round over fellow Conference South side Staines Town. Woking also beat Chatham Town & needed a replay to defeat Havant & Waterlooville in the competition. With not much Conference South football played Woking managed a record of 1 win, 1 draw & 1 defeat.

Sunday 11th December 2011 - Cup 'Notts' for Woking, but Trophy run is on

Notts County defeated Woking at their Meadow Lane ground in the FA Cup 1st Round to put an end to the Cards run in the competition. League form has continued to impress & Woking are on the chase of seemingly invincible Welling. The FA Trophy has provided the club with another cup run as lower league Chester City were defeated in the final qualifying round before Woking defeated another club beneath them in the pyramid, Great Wakering Rovers, 4:1.

Thursday 19th January 2012 - Trophy run continues

With only 1 defeat in the league since the last update, Woking still find themselves 2nd in the table hot on the heals of Welling United. Conference North high-fliers Gloucester City were defeated in the FA Trophy 1st Round.

Sunday 26th February 2012 - Suitable for promotion

Woking defeated league leaders Welling United to go within 2 points of them & followed this up by continuing the undefeated streak well in to February, ending up top of the Conference South. The season's goal has always been promotion to the Conference National & it's looking more & more like a realistic aim as Woking went on to defeat 2 Conference National sides in the FA Trophy: Kidderminster Harrers, then recently relegated side Stockport County to put Woking through to the Semi Final of the competition they have won a record 3 times.

Thursday 22nd March 2012 - The crash

Conference National side Fleetwood Town defeated Woking in the FA Trophy Semi Final. The Cards gained a credible 0:0 draw away up north before the fully-pro side defeated Woking 2:1 at Kingfield. League form took a turn for the worse as a very poor run has seen Woking drop from top spot & consistnatly-good Welling United take a good points lead at the top.

Thursday 22nd March 2012 - Race to the play offs as Cards show their hand

Woking qualify for the Conference South promotion play offs thanks to a great end of season run that saw the Cards only drop points to Thurrock (draw) & Eastbourne Borough (loss). A great first season in management has resulted in me being just 3 games away from promotion to the Conference National!
