Here's my squad, I'm currently in 3rd in the Serie A with Juventus,

11/12: 1st - no europe
12/13: 1st - knocked out champions league group stage
13/14: 3rd - knocked out champions league group stage
14/15: (currently 3rd place, 2nd place in my champions league group)

This is my squad

main line-up is either
4-3-1-2

I can't seem to perform in europe, i do alright domestically, any suggestions to improve my squad?

I find I'm a massive failure domestically but amazing in Europe so I would suggest making a new 4231 formation as that's what seems to work in for me in Europe, get a good all round striker and play him as a poacher with quite a creative midfield and see if that works, I don't know your players stats but you probably have good enough players.

In my United save, I'm running a 4-2-2-2 that's got me on a 30+ game unbeaten streak (However, De Gea has saved me a few times) which has 2 poachers (E. Torres and Hernandez), 2 IF's on the wings (Rooney and Navas), a Ball Winning Midfielder partnering an Adv. Playmaker in CM (Rodwell and Hamsik, usually, but Kroos is there too) and a Ball Playing Defender with a standard CB at the back. (Shawcross and Vidic)

This allows the team's formation to be fluid. For example, when under pressure, Rodwell drops back and forms a 5-1-2-2, and when going forward Shawcross (or Jones) pushes up to form a 3-1-2-2-2 (almost 3-3-2-2)

Just thrashed AC Milan 9-1 on aggregate in the CL QF's and came out of a group containing Napoli, Benfica and Leverkusen with 16 pts.
