Bath Manager Sensational Return!

So I sat there looking at my polished shoes, sniggering away under my voice. “Is there something amusing about this sir?” asked the chairman’s voice. “Not really replied my voice before I could stop it, just think its funny how I’m receiving a lecture from a club I haven’t even joined yet!”
“I will remind you that I decide your future, I will be your new boss after all!” said Khan, looking directly down his nose at me.
“Sorry sir,” I managed to say without a giggle. “it wont happen again.” I left the meeting feeling like a stupid schoolboy, ****, I’d been acting like one after all.

This Is Stanley the Club That Wouldn’t die
Accrington-Stanley-have-b-001.jpg

The sign I read as I went for my stadium tour, the club that wouldn’t die. I said, “Don’t worry, I’ll replace the past with a future worth looking forward to!” Then in the back of my head I wished I hadn’t.

Transfer Budget: 0
Free wages available: 12k

“We are looking for some big signings, loan signings, and we think you are the person to bring them,” Said the chairman as I was about to leave. I was just at the door on the way out when his voice called “And Christie, don’t let us down!”

I knew I had a big job on my hands. And I wanted to get started now.

So, anyway, let’s catch up to now. I got this job after I promised a promotion to League 1 in two years. That is looking less likely than ever despite only one month passing by. It started well enough, with some new signings

Great performance, fluent attacking footy and unlucky goals against.
Dissapointing result, no getting away form it!

Okay, so i posted this before and it didnt get accepted. Am i breaking any rules? If not, how can i improve it?

I cringed at the title, couldn't you have spent a minute thinking of something decent? Good luck anyway though.

Sorry guys wont be posting for a couple of days, have the glandular fever sorry.

The title was supposed to be 'the club that wouldn't die' (the drama) wooops.

August Update!!

"Not the start we were expecting Christie... a home match against F*****G BURTON ALBION!" Blared Khan into my terrified face.
"Yes, but dont you agree we bossed the game and played so well in the second half? I think if we play this well in the next few games results will pick up soon." I stammered back at him totally unimpressed with myself. I made an excuse that i had to go then ran away with my tail between my legs. To be quite honest i thought we had played well but now it was time to get those results i'd promised the board and the fans.

I gave the team the rest of the week off training so i could work on tactics without confusing them with all these thoughts i'd been having. I'd had a sore head for a while and I'd been quite sick, turns out i was quite ill and this month would be difficult for everybody. When the team came back we were straight back to Games, the most difficult game we were expecting all season came up Sheff. Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday Football Cub is a small club based in South Yorkshire and is the third oldest in the English League. They were Founding members of the Football Alliance and were champions in the inaugural season. They joined the Premier League in 1992 and have spent the majority of their life in the top flight.

Results This Month:

Sheff Wed. 4-0 Accrington League Cup

Barnet 0-0 Accrington

Notts Co. 3-0 Accrington

Accrington 0-1 Port Vale

Accrington 1-0 Torquay
Jamie Larner

Accrington 2-1 Bury
Tom Kilbey (1) Andy Little(1)

I
n summary quite a poor month, but we went out on a high. Im playin my own 4-2-3-1 tactic witch doesnt seem to be working but against bury everything just clicked. My relationship with the chairman is strained but their is history their and i'm glad he gave me a second chance. We only scored three goals this month so thats a problem area i will be looking at

September Update

Anyways lets focus on football first, not a great month- in fact quite a terrible month really. I always knew Accrington were struggling, but i never knew they were AWFUL. Well first off was the losses against Chesterfield, Rotherham and Northampton respectively. Then a quite entertaining Draw with Shrewsbury. My own tactic does not seem to be working but i am sticking to my guns. Andy Little had quite a fantastic month but i mean Come on Accrington Stanley, this is a joke

Accrington 1-2 Chesterfield
Cillian Sheridan (1)

Northhampton 3-1 Accrington
Jamie Larner (1)

Accrington 0-1 Northampton

Accrington 1-1 Shrewsbury
Tom Kilbey (1)

Macclesfield 2-0 Accrington

Accrington 0-2 Lincoln!

Results need to pick up next month or i'll be in trouble, real trouble.

As bad as things were on-field, off-field were a million times worse. I was called into the chairman's office and he was wanting to talk.

"I suppose things will always be strained between us? Lets talk!" he boomed

"Sir, I would rather not..." I started

"It wasn't your fault you know, there was nothing you could do!" Khan sympathized.

"Sir, leave it out will you? I'm still to go to court over it so i would rather not. Also, I'm getting threats about it so I don't think it's safe to talk." I argued.

Thing were getting heated with the trial, but it was an accident and I honestly didn't mean it. Why do people have to be so unreasonable? Hopefully things will clear up soon and I'll be able to tell you all about it.

October Update

So, October. A month with Halloween a the end, but we wanted anything except a scare!
Any sort of stability on or off the pitch wouldn't go a miss, so it was important that we made this month count!

Darlington 1-2 Accrington
Cillian Sheridan (1), Tom Kilibey (1)

Accrington 0-1 Bradford

Accrington 1-2 Rochdale
Shaun McConvile (1)

Bradford 1-1 Accrington
Darran Kempson (1)

Accrington 1-2 Morecambe
Peter Murphy (1)

Cheltenham 3-2 Accrington
Waide Fairhurst (1), Cillian Sheridan (1)

So, this month was a bit better for results but still not great. I did enjoy watching the team for the first time and at least now we're getting the goals we had been missing. Cillian Sheridan will sign full time on 1st January, which is a massive boost. Also, Waide Fairhurst came in and made an instant impact, scoring on his debut. So at least we're not in the relegation zone, but it's still not good enough for a club with such a rich history.

It was the month before the trial and things were in the news paper that clearly weren't true. Why would i have shouted racist comments to a waiter ,just because of bad service. I promise i have never said anything racist about anyone. Since this imaginary event, I've had my wife beaten by strangers, and i've been getting constant death threats. The sooner this is all over the better.
