Unknown Manager Simon Winson take's charge of newly relegated West Brom.
The board demand that they return to the Premier League first time of asking!!
Simon had this to say....
" This club has given me the opportunity of a lifetime and i will grasp it with both hands, Our aim is to get back to the Premier League and i feel i have the squad and coaching staff to be able to do it"
Despite limited resources West Brom manager Simon Winson brought in some fantastic young players with Fran Merida, Francis Muamba and Federico Macheda all signing season long loan deals. He also snapped up Craig Cathcart for 1.2m and Paul Mccourt from Celtic for 1.4m.

Despite signalling his intentions to keep Chris Brunt a bid of 4.5m was too good to reject from West Ham so Brunt left.
So with transfers done West Brom went into Pre Season confident of some good results...

A superd Pre-season from West Brom had the fans thinking the season opener with Newcastle would be a walkover but Simon reminded the fans to keep their feet on the ground saying..
" There are some really good teams in The Championship and it will not be easy to gain promotion but we will try our best and hopefully the results will go our way"
So can West Brom and Simon keep up there stunning start or will they find life difficult in the championship...
