Mysterious triangle

Look at it, anyone know why there's a hole? I've tried this myself on ms paint, and it's real
 
it has something to do with those 2 triangles and its areas. im not sure about it, still confused and crazy about this. :P

I get how it works. Its to hard to explain though.
 
i think the longest line isn't 100% straight, isn't it?

EDIT: big triangle have 8x3 size and small triangle have 5x2 size, bigger triangle should have 7.5x3 not 8x3 CMIIW

Guys, here's an image so you can test it on ms paint, left side are the fused parts, right side show that the longest line is 100% straight, bottom side are the parts, happy trying

You just switch the two triangles and push the orange shape forward. Easy to see, difficult to explain, other than what others have pointed out about the long line not being exactly 180 degrees, you can see that from the squares in the background.
