What's more unbelievable is Dixon and Hansen on Match of the Day last night talking about how when they played that would have been applauded as a fair tackle.

What, that's your reasoning, you can't stand him? Jesus, that's harsh. Fabregas' antics were a bit petulant, I admit, but to equate it with a two-footed tackle that sent a player flipping through the air is just rubbish.

I just think he has a bad yet unnoticed attitude at times, and to stop a freekick that looked on target (replay suggested tha) with his hand (purposely) is downright desperate and unprofessional.

Nani was definitely a red card in today's game but for once I can slightly agree with Dumbo and Dipsy (Messrs Hansen and Dixon) that once upon a time it would have been a good tackle. In 10 years time players will get sent off for looking at someone funny... BOOM... straight red.... 3 games

no way it was a red if thats a red card then football is finished football is becoming more and more and more commercialized as it goes on more about flash and money than anything else now he won the ball there WON THE BALL how can u send a player off for winning the ball there was no intent if the ball had gone fair enough if was still at his feet this was a ridiculous decision and tbh in the last few weeks referees have been acting like they have power trips we are seeing more and more ridiculous bookins and red cards one team being punished for a tackle 6 weeks later and one team isnt pretty much like celtic and rangers celtic last year got punished for a loovens tackle about 15 games after it happened rangers do it every week nothing happens to them which is funny as the director of scottish football GORDON SMITH just so happens to be a RANGERS FAN funny that isnt it do away with stupid 2nd phase offsides and daft referees trying to make a name for thereselves there is no way in any circumstances that was a red card he was commited if he was my player and he never done that i wouldnt be happy u cant slide along the ground with your feet touching it unless u wanna break your ankle

all this **** about 2 footed tackles and 1 footed tackles if u wanna be factual look at the most tackles that break players legs THEY ARENT 2 FOOTED THEY ARE ALL 1 FOOTED so how can a 2 footed challenge be more dangerous than anything else if u win the ball U WIN THE BALL if u dont u dont if he had moved the ball and nani caught him yes red card but as i see it he won the ball fairly whether its 2 feet or not i dont really care goal keepers run out of there area and jump with 2 feet and jump all over players backs on crosses and get free kicks thereselvs ***** football is falling apart now with ridiculous refereeing decisions like that

and he didnt send him flipping at all petrov jumped over him like that to avoid the tackle he went with it he wasnt sent flipping lets be serious here if i kick someone with 1 foot i have more control over it and more power is placed into it if i drop kick someone it aint no where near as hard or controlled as a 1 footed tackle
