This tactic has been successfully implemented at every level of European and international football. I've won every league in England with Telford and Sunderland, Serie A with Genoa, LA Liga with Barca, the Bundesliga with Bayern, Ligue 1 with Lyon, have won multiple Champions Leagues, and several World Cups, Confederation Cups and Copa Americas with Brazil. So it's been thoroughly tested!

I always liked the DM and AM positions in FM, so this way a key part of the formation for me, having a front sweeper to protect the back four, and a midfielder to get beyond the forward regularly, create chances, and score goals.

I've also attached a few of the best games that I've played with this formation. I've got loads more high scores, but I thought five of my matches was quite enough!

Screenshots? More details on the tactical side of it?

It's a narrow 4-4-2 formation, standard back four, DM, 2CM and AM, with 2CF, one advanced forward and one poacher. The advanced forward plays a creative role as well. Lots of short passing, lots of closing down, slow build up, passing focussed through the middle. The full-backs do a lot of running, so it is generally useful to have full-backs with high stamina. AM needs to be creative and good goalscorer, as he has high creative freedom, and licence to get forward whenever possible. You need one creative forward with good dribbling skills and technique, and one with good pace, finishing and composure. Generally speaking, it's quite a tough formation on the players, they get tired playing this, so you need to make substitutions after the hour mark. It is a high-scoring, big chance creating formation. Hope that's helpful.

Sounds good mate. Guess it would be better to steer clear from it with lower league sides? Try and get some screenshots up of it mate, so everyone can check it out before downloading :)

I didn't think it'd work in the lower leagues at all, or I wasn't sure. But it worked surprisingly well. Not with the same fluency as with top-class players but that's probably true of any formation. I just did a quick screenshot with Barcelona, so it can be seen with players everyone knows.

Looks like MrHough's Complete Dominance with the corner bug :S

Another "stolen" tactic I see. Give proper credits to creator of original tactic as you didn't even make changes to it, except for adding corner bug...

Its Mr Hough's wonder tactic.

Thanks to people like you and noobs who give me agro because they lost 2 games in a season ill not be realising tactics for fm 2011. Sick to the back teeth of it. I happen to know Dave Hough is pretty ****** off too.

**** theives, you ruin it for everyone (A)

If you make it so Hough doesnt release his tactics, there will be a very angry mob behind you, Idiot
