hi, basically I started out without a club but with past professional experience and got the job managing struggling Airdrie Utd in Scottish 2nd. I got them to mid table 1st and was then offered move to Bristol Rovers who were in the lower depths of League 1. I steadied them and gained promotion, won the North/South cup (cant remember it's name) and hit the play-offs in first season in Championship. I got offered Uraguay job during this season. However the next season I struggled to break into the top 8 and i grew a little tired so resigned to concentrate on National job and keep fingers crossed for a job offer in premiership / top championship side / top 6 spl side however all Im getting is bottom Championship and League 1 offers.

I was wondering if doing well with Uraguay will increase my rep enough to get some better job options? I only have Scottish and English leagues loaded.

I have just qualified for 2018 world cup and scored a scary amoount of goals in doing so.

I dont want to quit this save as I rarely make it this fare into a game but want a club with a better starting point than I'm being offered if possible.

this likely you reckon?

thanks for reading

I think the reputation system is flawed. Not even winning championships changes anything on my rep. No idea how a world cup would affect it but I wouldn't be surprised if the game want you to win 5 world cups in a row before you gain a rep level...

It'll certainly help internationally. Failed to get a big international job before a few years and a world cup appearance with Uruguay, then I managed to get England, then Italy afterwards, plus working my way up on another save, after a few years of failing to get anything internationally, a brief and poor Moldova stint was still enough to get a good Senegal side afterwards, and in both cases there was little going on club-wise that would raise my profile, changing my rep bar or not.

Johnstones Paint is exactly the Trophy, cheers.

It's funny, for a good year before Uraguay approached me I was applying for all kinds of international jobs and never got a shout once then the 6th ranked team in the world offered me a contract. It's actually first time I have managed a nation. It's quite fun, broke up the game a bit and gives me something to work on while I wait for a new job.

Just hope it helps at club level as well and Im not wasting my time waiting
