Near retirement player's coaching attributes

i have some players who are nearing retirement and they are legends at my team. I have the option to offer a future role in the coaching staff through the player interaction, but not sure what position do I offer them if I don"t know what or if they can coach.

offer them roles at coaches..that's the best way to do it..if they want to be assistant managers, they will tell you so..and then you can ask them to be assistant managers

I am Roma and I am thinking of specfically Totti, but also Perrotta, and Cassetti.

if they accept it, yes. have a look at some old players...i am sure there will be some whose coaching attributes you can see.
