Hello all. Im new to football manager as i have always played fifa.

Anyway, got the game, and was a bit disappointed to find no player pics or club badges for alot of clubs.

Anyway, its been a bit tricky but im getting there. I went into Program files - Sports interactive - Football manager 11.

I didnt have a Graphics folder in there, so i opened up the Data folder, and made a graphics folder, then inside the graphics folder, made a folder called facepacks.

Then i downloaded and random facepack, a liverpool 1. Pasted the contents into the Facepacks folder and started a new game. Bit of a shock, all images had been removed from the game. No badges or player pics for any team. So, i went back into the data folder, and i had a file in there called "graphics.fmf" and thought opps, maybe i should have put that into the new facepack folder i had created.

Did that, started a new game and up pics were back and the liverpool players now had there pictures showing. However, there wernt any sponsors on the shirts of any of the championship, league 1 or league 2 teams. So obviously iv still done something wrong.

Inside the data folder, i have the following files:

ads.fmf
advisors.fmf
classes.fmf
comps.fmf
credits.fmf
fonts.fmf
help.fmf
hints.fmf
localised.fmf
media.fmf
panels.fmf
screens.fmf
sections.fmf
settings.fmf
shortcuts.fmf
skins.fmf
templates.fmf

Right, my guess, is that inside the graphics folder i have created, i should create a new folder within that, called for example Media, and then place the Media.fmf inside that? But im really unsure. If i had some fmf files called "club badges" or "club sponsors" then id have an idea.

Anyway, i hope there is someone out there that understands what i mean.

Thank you :)

Actually dont ignore this, i havent solved the issue

graphics folder goes in my documents mate, nothing should ever really go into programme files except sound packs and stuff

and don't create a folder in data just create it in the main FM folder.

This should help :)
In a shorter way - In User(Name)/Documents, there should be two Sports Interactive folders: one's the games files and other for graphics.
In the folder without the game files, make a folder named 'graphics' if you don't have one. Then inside 'graphics' make three folders: faces, kits and logos. Where to put your files should really be obvious.
Hope this helps :)

Yea cheers guys, figured it out that i shouldnt have been going through program files, but through my documents instead, like you have all now informed me.

In the process of downloading the mega packs for Logos and Facepacks.. taking loonnggg!

Thanks guys.
