Need a tactic for Portsmouth, first season

On my first season with Pompey, and I'm doing reasonably ok, but recently I can only draw games and its really frustrating, can someone please lend me some advice on what tactic I should use please.

I'm in second season with pompey, first finished in 13, is impossible to do better, second is going good, 6 place with 8 games!!!

for sure, and their expectations are very high because in the second season they want a place in mid table but the salary for week is about 18000. lol very vey low.
