I need some advice to maybe improve the tactic I use. The tactic works fine for the most part except i concede way too much from crosses, early crosses into space or crosses from opponents final third. And the second problem i have is the roles for my MCR DM/MC and MCL. Here is the tactic.

I have tested the tactic on 2 different Norwich saves 1 solo (4th in 1st season, currently 2nd in 2nd season in 21 games) and on this save, which is multiplayer with a friend. Did a quite a bit worse and ended 9th scored 66 goals, 4th highest, conceded 67, 3rd highest (NOTE: I did not use the tactic all season as i messed around with others to try and get better results). As i said i have issues with crosses and roles to set fro my midfielders. And I have tested it out with all 3 players in the midfield and with a defensive midfielder. Not sure which works better and which one would bring me more balance. I don't use a specific playmaker as i read that if i only have one it will force the team to feed to ball to him more and that the opponents can close him down and the attack breaks down easier. However if that is wrong I don't mind using a DLP or AP. I like playing attacking football with a lot of chances created but on this specific save I am just conceding too many from the wings. Not sure if i should change up defensive line and closing down instructions and with. I already have Redmond and Özyakup leaving (contract talk with City and Chelsea) for 20 million each and I Federico Bernardeschi, Bruno Fernandes, Iván (DR from Levante), Matheus Pereira (from COR) and Gerónimo Rulli (free transfer) all confirmed and joining 1.7.2016. Thnx in advance for any advice you can give me to help improve the tactic.

Nathan Redmond is right footed but as an Inside Forward from the right wing, you have him playing a role that is better suited to a left footed player. Either switch him to the opposite flank or use him as a Winger_Attack on the right flank with instructions to get to the byline and cross more often (give those same instructions to Andrew Robertson at Left Wing Back_Attack, too).

Go through your central midfielders and see which roles each player is best suited to. Ideally, you want one of them in a defensive role (like Ball Winning Midfielder or Defensive Midfielder), one of them supporting (like Deep Lying Playmaker) and one of them attacking (Advanced Playmaker or Attacking Midfielder). Have the more offensive player Try Killer Balls Often and train your three central midfielders to Switch the Ball to Opposite Flank, to quickly make use of space when it appears.

A Complete Forward_Support will get involved in the build-up play a bit more and still get into the middle for the cross - particularly if you instruct your crossers to aim for him (Aim at Target Man).

With your Wing Backs on Attack mode, make sure that your team is instructed to Look for Overlap to make the most of them. Switching the play will also get the ball to them fairly often. You might also want to Retain Possession and have your Goalkeeper assist that strategy by rolling the ball out to your Wing Backs.

As far as closing down opposition crosses is concerned, use the Opposition Instructions to Close Down Always, Tackle Normal/Hard and to show players onto their Weaker Foot. You can man-mark wingers and close down overlapping full backs, if you want.

I would change the duty of the striker to "Support" and the duty of the left central to "Support"

A good thing yo are doing is having much width which is good for the attacking side. It will create vertical space for your player to run into channels. I would correct onw thing though having 2 wingers as inside forwards is overkill. Have at least one of them as an attacking winger. This will give you diversity in attacks from both flanks. This video will help you out too.
