Need championship players.

I have started a new save where I am managing Watford and Northern Ireland. I need players from England that I could sign for Watford as they have a lot of foreign players and I want to make the team up of young English players. In need of all positions, budget of 4m.

Tommy Rowe from Peterborough, however he doesn't improve significantly. Luke Ayling RB from Yeovil has got potential of Premier League and is available for 400k-800k.

There is a lack of cheap english talent!!!

Rowe is a decent LB at championship level. Jonaton Valle from Recreativo is a good cheap ACM trequartista (managed to pick him up for £375k). If you can stretch the budget (sell some players maybe) try and sign Simon Makienok from the Danish league. Fantastic target man for championship and only 22. Just got into February with Nottingham Forest 1st season and he's already on 22 goals and 11 assists from 26 games.

Edit: Just realised you wanted English players but I'd still go for Makienok.
David Bentley is always an option and is a good player to get on a free. I've found Jack Hobbs is one of my best players at Forest, English CB.
