need disk ?

I downloaded the patch, before this i simply played fm through steam and gave my disk to a mate so he can play the game too, now that the patch is downloaded it says i need the disk and my mate is in newcastle at uni, is there anyway around this? cheers

I never noticed any updates being downloaded so i downloaded the patch anyway, and now the game wont load through steam without the disk?

rule number one

NEVER MANUALLY UPDATE FM IF YOU HAVE IT ON STEAM

you have to totally re install now
