Need help restoring saved games.

Hi
On my PC i have a saved game which i'm doing really well but i now need to transfer that data to my laptop. Unfortunetly everytime i copy the save files to my laptop and try to play them it says "The save game could not be loaded". After reading forums i thought my data must be corrupted but i discovered i could still play the sav game on my PC. Any help appreciated.

Oh i just relised it isn't lol If i make them the same will it work?
