I've just started a season with Swansea, and took the option up of terminating all the staff contracts as to bring my own back staff in.

As things stand the board are allowing me a max of £650/w for staff wages, most of the coaches i'm after want £1,200/w but after offering £650, they try to level off at £750.

How can I convince the board to give me more money for coaches, i've tried adjusting the budget, allowing extra for wages but that only effects the wages as far as I can tell.

You won't be able to, sacking all those staff will have eaten into your finances affecting all your future budgets. Usually, I keep the current crop of staff for a season and then sack them when the club is in a strong financial position which is hopefully at the end of the season.

Always offer mutual termination first to save yourself some cash. Your only option now is to go for worse and therefore cheaper coaches.
