i have some problems with not knowing what different player instructions orders do. So i was hoping some1 here will explain it to me..
So here are the things i dont know:
-Cross from: mixed, byline, deep (what is the difference between those options and what it does to the players movment in the game?)
-Wide play: normal, hug touchline, cut inside, move into channels ( wanna know same thing as for the options above)

I'm sorry if there is already a thread about that and if there is one i would appreciate a link.
Thanks in advance.

Crossing from byline is when the winger will run as far down the pitch as possible to cross the ball i.e. the goal line. Crossing from deep is deeper in the park, much like an early cross. Mixed is crossing the ball from the byline and deep.

thanks man.
but one question.. you explained how it works with the winger.. but what about MC who doesnt cross often?

Okay Crossing from mixed means your players will cross from advanced and deep positions , where as its set to deep means your players will cross from deep , mixed means both
Crossing from byline is best suited to your wide players and means they will usually run to the byline.
Wide play , Normal they will cover areas of the pitch suited to there position on the field , MC will stay centre mostly , wide player will play wide ,
Hug Touchline , your player will hug the touchline and stay there for the most part best suited if your playing a wide formation
Cut Inside , best suited in a 451 attacking formation with the , AMR , AML , or for formations you play with 1 striker
Move into Channels means your players will drive through the gaps in the defence , explained the left back and centre back play as part of a flat 4 , your player would drive in the gap as opposed to driving at the Opposition player.
Works best if your playing a team that plays wide as there is a lot of gaps between there players in there respected positions
