Need some help (Technical thread is a ghost town)

Hi everyone,

I know this is the wrong place for this thread but I have never received a response when posting in the Technical help thread so I thought I'd post here.

My FM17 has just stopped working through steam, when I click play game is says "Running" then very quickly flashes "Syncing" followed by nothing. No loading, no error message, nothing.

I have tried deleting all the files and uninstalling the game, then reinstalling but I get the same thing happening.

Any advice to fix it?

My older versions of FM seem to work fine.

I have checked that all my drivers etc are up to date and there doesn't seem to be an issue there.

So yeah, any advice as to what the problem might be would be great.

I've had this happen of other games, I deleted the steam app the redownloaded it that is what worked for me

Ill add because you didn't put it in the OP verify the cache too

Yeah I did try that last night as well actually.

I will try reinstalling Steam and see if that fixes things.
