Need some help

I signed a player for my team in August and he is unregistered for premier league and champions league matches. The player is Joao Moutinho. Is it possible to register him so i can play him cos i dont like him not having any football or not being able to play him. If it is possible can you tell me how i do register him. Or do i have to wait until the next registration stage comes?

If it is still the transfer window go on to your squad screen and give him a number. There should be a bar at the bottom to do this:

No it is not it is like November time now..does this mean i will have to wait till january to do it??
